Overall the FNG provides two modes of execution

Automatic Guarantees: Requested directly through financial intermediaries that are linked to FNG, which studies the feasibility of a leasing or credit transaction and determines the need of using the guarantees of the National Guarantee Fund. If the loan amount is defined within the automatic guarantee products, the debtor must not carry out any procedures at the FNG for the guarantee. All interaction will be given between financial intermediaries and the Fund.

​​​Individual Guarantees: In cases in which the loan amount requested are above the limits for automatic guarantees, the financial intermediary must apply to the FNG or FRG, referring the supporting documents which formed the basis for approval of the loan or leasing operation.
